About us
Holandský sýr s.r.o. was founded in February 2006 by Gert Koolhof and his son Folko Pepijn Koolhof with the purpose to introduce Gouda Farmhouse cheese to the Czech market. To achieve this we closely work together with De Producent from Gouda, Holland, a cooperation of 50 especially selected farmers, with a storage capacity of 1,5 till 2 million kilo cheese, which makes them the largest supplier of Gouda Farmhouse cheese in the world. The Holandský sýr company is the only one to sell this product in the Czech Republic.
There is an authentic cheese shop in Domažlice at Msgre B.Staška 66, to sell directly to the consumer.(see pictures) We also supply a number of shops who sell our cheese, for example in Prag,Pelhrimov and Cheb. You can find the addresses elsewhere on the site. During the summer-season we weekly visit a number of (dutch) camping-sites . We also have a selling point ,every Monday, during all holidays (also in winter) at the Marina Lipno bungalowpark at the Lipno lake.
